Title: Necropolis
Rating: ★★★★☆
Author: Anthony Horowitz
Genre: Fantasy, Suspence
Favourite Part of Book: When Scarlett finds out what her power is
Extra Thoughts: It's crazy the length people will go to just because they have been told to protect a child no matter the cost even though they have never heard of or met the person. No matter how confused or reluctant they are they still do no matter what as if their lives relied upon the survival of a child. Also, even though they have no idea what's going on you can still act upon an action with a single word which triggers your instincts.
Title: Oblivion
Rating: ★★★★☆
Author: Anthony Horowitz
Genre: Fantasy, Suspence
Favourite Part of Book: When the five finally got together
Extra Thoughts: The book jumps around quite a lot and so it may get quite confusing with what's happening but it all makes sense as they tell each individual story in time with each other as they happen at the same time but due to the difficulty of being on the other side of the world it is hard to write as if they are all together in the same place but it makes sense and it helps the book progress. And even though when you are all far apart and on the other side of the world from each other you can still connect with each other and find each other whilst doing what's right at the right moment. Also, even though Scarlett and Richard aren't close the bond they build as if they have known each other their entire lives is incredible as they help each other through absolutely everything they encounter.
Title: The Recruit
Rating: ★★★★☆
Author: Robert Muchamore
Genre: Teenage Spy
Favourite Part of Book: When Mr Speaks help James and Kerry in Basic training and knowing he still had a heart reagrdless of how mean he had been
Extra Thoughts: You never know what life is going to throw at you and that your life could go from being completely fine and normal to completely upside down not knowing where you will go and what will happen to you. Then all of a sudden you find yourself in a scret organization with your life turned upside down yet again but for the better and that you know you will never live your life as it was previously and that itwill only get better, not worse. You only have to deal with what life throws at you at that current time and have to push through it no matter how hard it gets as life will only get better especially you are at your lowest you can only go up!
Title: Class A
Rating: ★★★★☆
Author: Robert Muchamore
Genre: Teenage Spy
Favourite Part of Book: When James earns his navy T-shirt and none of his friends believe him
Extra Thoughts: It's always going to be hard to fit in and make friends but you got to push through it find other leads into the mission no matter the cost. You have to trust your instint and go with what you think is best even though you may be breaking the rules but you always have to be careful in case something goes wrong. It is always interesting to see how these kids work and how they think through every possible situation and how to execute the plan and escape without a scratch, finding what they intended to as always. As well as always completing the mission without fail going through every risk, maybe the CHERUB experience isn't for everyone. You never know what someone is going through and thinking and so you have to be respectful of peoples thoughts as they always have reasoning behind how they act and think.
Title: Maximum Security
Rating: ★★★★☆
Author: Robert Muchamore
Genre: Teenage Spy
Favourite Part of Book: When Lauren had got all the trainees their grey shirts and got her first mission
Extra Thoughts: Prison is not a nice place to land up in but you have to do what you have to do to get your contacts and complete the mission. You have to keep pushing no matter how hard it gets and you have to face reality and choose your loyalties carefully. You don't want to end up on the wrong side of someone especially in prison you never know where you will end up and you have to be careful and to not let you the pressure get to you. Sometimes you have to do what it takes to survive and even though you may not like it, it may be your only option. Just be careful who you trust and be nice you never know where that may lead you.
Title: The Killing
Rating: ★★★☆☆
Author: Robert Muchamore
Genre: Teenage Spy
Favourite Part of Book: When they got a break on their mission with the hidden information they found accidently
Extra Thoughts: People will do what it takes to cover up their tracks and so you have to be careful what you get involved with and what you are doing for other people, especially crime as that will always lead back to you no matter how hard you try to cover your tracks and carry on as if nothing happened. Also, people will pretty much believe what they get told so you have to stick with what you know and the facts otherwise you may end up doing something you'd regret or let something slip that could cost ultimately lead to your downfall.
Title: Divine Madness
Rating: ★★★☆☆
Author: Robert Muchamore
Genre: Teenage Spy
Favourite Part of Book: When James realises there was a light switch
Extra Thoughts: Groups such as cults have techniques to brainwash kids in making them stay and think nothing else of what's going on in the outside world. They are are made to believe certain beliefs which will allow them to carry out tasks without question and they have their ways to manipulate the outside world and everyone inside to help their own cause and to keep running without anyone knowing their true motives.
Title: Man Vs Beast
Rating: ★★★☆☆
Author: Robert Muchamore
Genre: Teenage Spy
Favourite Part of Book: When they rescued all the puppies
Extra Thoughts: There are extreme vegan groups who will almost do anything to promote their cause even going to the extreme to show the world what is supposedly best. They insist on loyalty and to know that you are with them all the way no matter what the situation putting you through toughest of situations to prove that you will do anything for them.
Title: The Fall
Rating: ★★★★☆
Author: Robert Muchamore
Genre: Teenage Spy
Favourite Part of Book: When James got his birthday surprise reagrdless of what else was happening
Extra Thoughts: Secret organizations will do anything to complete their mission even if it means stitching up another agent leading to them to on their edge. Situations are hard and even if you are not being told all the information it is for the best as well not leading you towards false hope. Everything always works out in the end and that no matter what is happening you can always rely on those around you to make everything better as well as getting you out the situation.
Title: Mad Dogs
Rating: ★★★★☆
Author: Robert Muchamore
Genre: Teenage Spy
Favourite Part of Book: When Mr Large gets what he deserves
Extra Thoughts: CHERUB is very clever in the way in which their training happens and makes sure that every trainee passes basic training. Due to the fact that they are always short of kids they pay attention to every detail available to maximise chances to pass kids. As well as keeping tabs on every person that has ever been in CHERUB to help keep the organization a secret the database is insanely big allowing it to cover everything from the beginning to the end of your life CHERUB really has thought of everything.
Title: The Sleepwalker
Rating: ★★★★☆
Author: Robert Muchamore
Genre: Teenage Spy
Favourite Part of Book: When Jake steps up and saves the mission
Extra Thoughts: You never know what your family is involved with as they could be lying to your face. You have to be careful because if you question it and go too deep then you may never come back out the other end. Sometimes you have to suck up the facts and try to ignore it otherwise your parents may do something you'd regret as it may not even cross their mind that they care as they are only trying to protect their business and to get away with it. You have to learn to keep your mouth shut and put on a show so you don't give anything away and hope for the best.
Title: The General
Rating: ★★★☆☆
Author: Robert Muchamore
Genre: Teenage Spy
Favourite Part of Book: When the Americans all get stomach aches allowing the CHERUBs to win
Extra Thoughts: It is interesting to see how maths can play in different parts of your everyday life such as playing blackjack. Something simple as being able to count multiple things at once and keeping it all in your head can be very handy in a game such as blackjack. This can allow you to be able to calculate the odds and then the probabilty in winning the hand allowing you to win big and earn more. It can take hours of practice even days to get it right but it is always worth it in the end.
Title: Brigands M.C.
Rating: ★★★★☆
Author: Robert Muchamore
Genre: Teenage Spy
Favourite Part of Book: When James gets offered a job by Dirty Dave
Extra Thoughts: Your past will always come back to haunt you no matter what and there's nothing you can do about it but to forget and push past it. The past is in the past and you have to let it go no matter what memories you have attached and try to forget. You may always do what your mind think but when you get to it you will not be able to complete your task as you realise that it won't achieve anything as the past is the past and there's nothing you can do to change it. The only way to get past it is to let it go and accept the change otherwise you will always have the thought at the back of your mind stopping you become the person you will become.
Title: Dark Sun
Rating: ★★★☆☆
